I bought my first new car in 1989.  It was a Toyota Celica and the experience was so bad for me that it has been 15 years since I dared to step foot into a dealership.  I purchased my 944  from Eurocar-Werk off Gulfton and my Boxster from a previous employer.  I took great strides to avoid working with a dealership.

I'm in Real Estate now and unfortunately my Boxster was taking a hit from all the driving I was required to do.  Additionally, customers were left following me in their own vehicles, leaving me to guess what their thoughts were as we viewed various properties.  I had to get a sedan and I wanted to get something reliable and pretty.  I had no idea what I was going to get, so I began car shopping.

Ultimately, I bought a 2002 Infiniti I35.  She's beautiful and runs like a charm.  I would like to take this moment to share with you the great people I met along the way.  I will start with Volvo, since I actually purchased the car from them.

Richard Sapp and Marvin Ard are the two gentlemen I worked with.  They were very fun, actually.   Someone made the statement that I was treated well because I drove up in a Porsche.  Perhaps, but this is also a dealership that sells high-end vehicles.  If you go there, tell them you heard about them from me; and if they don't treat you well, then I want to hear about it.

I worked with Elda Reyna here.  She was very professional and thorough.  She spent time going through her lot of pre-owned vehicles with me and I felt very comfortable working with her.  I really would have liked to have made my purchase from her simply because I like to support the effort of women.  But when buying a pre-owned car, you have to hop around from lot to lot 'till you get what you want.  Tell her I sent you!
