Car Smarts - An easy-to-use-Guide to understanding your car and communicating with your mechanic   By Mary Jackson.  

 

This book is awesome and I have referred to it on several occasions.  Ms. Jackson has this fantastic ability to help you break your car down into sections so that you can pinpoint the problems.  My mechanic told me I was his best female customer because I had learned how to tell him exactly where it hurt.

The Better Business Bureau  


If you are looking at doing business with a vendor and are not sure about their reputation you may go to this link and look them up.  Additionally, if you have an issue with a vendor, take it to the Better Business Bureau.  Some establishments have an agreement with the BBB to aggressively resolve complaints with their clients.
