| In 2000, I purchased
my first Porsche. It was a 1984 model; and such a beautiful car it was! But soon
I found I had taken a plunge into very unfamiliar territory becoming completely helpless and totally dependent
on the men around me to get me through hard times with this car. Up
to this point, my experience with car dealerships and mechanics have
been less than palatable. I know that I cannot be the only woman in
Houston who has been taken advantage of by people in the auto-industry. |

This website was
inspired by my own personal experiences. And
then fueled from the enthusiasm by those with whom I
shared my vision. Who among us hasn't
discovered that depending on an automobile can be
one of the most stressful places in which to be? |

That car changed my
life. In order to survive I was forced to get
smart. And if I didn't learn fast, my
car was going to become my master and life would
soon become miserable. I was fortunate to have
encountered good people to get me through the bumpy
roads with my new baby. So, I want to share my
great "finds" with other women. |
